Collier deputies still searching for bank robbery suspect 

Deputies are still on the lookout for a man who robbed the Bank of America off Pine Ridge Road and Collier Boulevard in Naples. 

The surveillance photos do not clearly show that the man was armed, but deputies have confirmed they believe he did have some kind of weapon.

Once again we are starting out with south and southwest winds this morning, keeping temperatures a few degrees warmer than normal and bringing in a humid feel to the air. This morning should be more quiet (in terms of rain) compared to the last few, but we can't rule out a passing shower or two near the coast during the first part of the day.

Florida serial killer who targeted gay men to be executed in August 

A convicted killer in Florida who authorities say targeted gay men is scheduled to be executed later this summer.

Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a death warrant Tuesday for 57-year-old Gary Ray Bowles. The execution is set for Aug. 22 at Florida State Prison.
